About Us
Keith
Hopkins, CFRE, has worked in and with the nonprofit community for over seventeen years.
Keith's career experience includes work in higher education and health care where he was
employed in teaching, administration, and fund development. Additionally, Keith was employed
for eight years with Monaghan Associates, a regional consulting firm that provides fund
development services to nonprofit organizations.
His experience has provided Keith with vast exposure to a wide variety of nonprofit organizations
and the funding challenges they face. He has worked with churches, colleges, athletic organizations,
libraries, hospitals, social service agencies, religiously-based organizations, camps, arts
organizations, and museums.
Keith is the founder and President of Hopkins Fundraising Consulting. He is an active community volunteer, a graduate of Leadership Grand Rapids, is past Board Chair of the West Michigan Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, serves on the Advisory Board of the Grand Rapids Community Foundation, and the board of the Thornapple Valley Baseball League. Keith has attended numerous workshops and conferences, including courses at the University of Indiana-Purdue’s School of Fundraising and is a frequent presenter and speaker. He recently served as an editor for the Michigan Nonprofit Manual. Keith holds degrees from Hope College and Ohio University.
